Designing spaces for today’s lifestyles

Today’s homes and commercial environments must flex between work, rest and everything in between.

Why flexibility matters

Rooms no longer do one job. A dining room is an office by day, and a shop floor may host events at night. Buildings that plan for this from the first sketch cost less to adapt later.

Three things we plan for

We look at structure first, keeping columns out of the way. Then services, so power and data can move. Finally daylight, because a room people enjoy is a room that stays in use.

Small decisions made early save large sums ten years on.
